DannieSpeaks.com is the personal blog, thoughts, and ramblings of Dannie McClain – mom, teacher, student, employee and all things labeled GREAT by my daughter. If you were able to make it past the first sentence then you definitely belong here. I don’t hold much back, but will be honest, straight forward, and of course expect the same of you.

As a mom of two busy children – one teen son and one daughter that thinks she is – I keep on my toes when it comes to information for family, parenting, and anything out of the ordinary. I enjoy learning from my children and seeing the world through their eyes; cloudy, clear, and all in between. Teaching them about life has had it’s battles, but the war is not over and I am confident I will succeed.

Of course, I’m still very much a women, so yes, I will share some things that might be a tad bit on the offensive side for some. Maybe even a bit off the wall… we are here to enjoy as well, correct? I have to chat outside of the box because if I don’t, I might go a bit insane. Sex is not off limits. Bitching is not off limits. Please accept me for who I am and embrace that I can share these thoughts with you (even if you may not like or disagree).

Outside of my personal side of life, I am a member of a great sales team for Waggin’ Train, LLC, a naturally wonderful pet treat company located in Anderson, SC. I continue to bring my years of analysis and replenishment expertise to Waggin’ Train, but given a unique opportunity not seen in my past companies – the ability to work from home and the possible opportunity to spread my wings in Social Media.

It had to be thrown in, right? Social Media is all a flutter and grows with every passing moment. Blog? Yes. Twitter? Yes. Facebook? Yes. Ning? Yes. The tools to develop are everywhere and I love them all. Can I just throw in marketing? Of course. Creating chatter about people, places, and EVERYTHING? Yes. Yes. Yes. I love it all!
