My first pen-pal was from California. Bakersfield to be exact. She was great. We shared secrets, chatted about school, and what awesome fun we would have during summer break. And know what was even better? She and I shared the same first name. At 10 that just has to be the coolest thing ever!

I was so ecstatic to receive new letters from my pen-pal; I couldn’t wait to get the envelope opened! I’m just as ecstatic to share with you that a great new online community now gives parents the opportunity to share the same pen-pal experience with our own children.

A Child Writes™ is a safe, members-only online environment that allows parents to create profiles for their children to be matched with an online age appropriate pen-pal.
