A Community Built by Children
My first pen-pal was from California. Bakersfield to be exact. She was great. We shared secrets, chatted about school, and what awesome fun we would have during summer break. And know what was even better? She and I shared the same first name. At 10 that just has to be the coolest thing ever!
I was so ecstatic to receive new letters from my pen-pal; I couldn’t wait to get the envelope opened! I’m just as ecstatic to share with you that a great new online community now gives parents the opportunity to share the same pen-pal experience with our own children.
A Child Writes™ is a safe, members-only online environment that allows parents to create profiles for their children to be matched with an online age appropriate pen-pal. Not only will your child grow in the experience of learning about their new friend, A Child Writes will also have moderated online parties where children will have the opportunity to win prizes!
What sets this pen-pal experience apart from yesteryear is while children can share and learn with a new friend, the community will focus on a monthly cause giving the children the opportunity to send cards and drawings in to be distributed by A Child Writes organization to those directly involved with the cause. Fun with a purpose!
Sign-up is easy and there is no personal information shared on the site. Profiles are created with our children’s privacy in mind. My daughter is excited to be matched with her first pen-pal. The only downfall… I signed her up later in the evening so I spent most of my night listening to, “when will I have my pal?” over, and over, and over again!
Check out A Child Writes and offer your child the experience of a lifetime!
